SikhMai community came together in a spirit of unity and support for the Uniform Vouchers Presentation Day—an initiative dedicated to helping families in need. The event began with Ardaas, as everyone sought blessings for the children’s success and well-being, setting a warm and uplifting atmosphere. It was followed by an inspiring speech by Sikhmai President, Mdm Kuldip Kaur. She spoke on the importance of education and advised the children to be focused in their studies. The mothers and children present were also empowered by an insightful talk titled ‘Drug Abuse – Early Signs and Impact On the Younger Generation ’, delivered by Tuan Kingsley Rashpal Singh, an officer from the Federal Reserve Unit, Ipoh. The session sparked meaningful discussions, offering valuable guidance to both children and their parents. It wasn’t just a talk—it was an interactive and eye-opening conversation, where attendees actively participated, asked questions, and gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by today’s youth.

The excitement continued as two upcoming programmes were announced:
• Youngsters Camp – A
fun and educational experience scheduled for the end of March.
• Personal Branding Workshop – A collaboration with EKTA, designed to equip participants with confidence.
The highlight of the day was the presentation of the uniform vouchers by Wadda Gurdwara President, Sardar Rajinder Singh and President of Sikhmai.
